What's Next? Event Series
The DCR's fifth and final What's Next? Series event of 2003 was held on October 28 at the
Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Moderator Bryce Zabel, former Chairman and CEO of the
Academy of Television Arts & Sciences led a panel discussion about the future television.
After welcoming remarks by DCR Chairman Robert J. Dowling, a panel of
experts discussed how technology is impacting the quality of television programming and what the
future may hold.

Stephen Andrade of NBC;
Michele DiLorenzo of Carsey-Werner-Mandabach;
Rick Mandler of The Walt Disney Internet Group and ABC's Enhanced TV; and
Leonard Washington of Paramount Digital Entertainment/
