What’s Next! Event Series

The What’s Next? Series offers a unique business forum for members (visionaries, international business leaders and top-level executives) to discuss the convergence of the region’s industry sectors, specifically in entertainment, and how technology is transforming business.

Past events have included the participation of such luminaries as Howard Berman, Gordon Binder, Eli Broad, Sean Carey, Henry Cisneros, Bob Dowling, Bruce Gersh, David Goldberg, David Katz, Jack Kyser, Curt Marvis, Joel Margulies, Andy Schuon, Rohit Shukla, Frank Stirling, Phillip Swann, Jonathan Taplin, and Herman Rush. Roundtable discussions offer ample opportunity to network and to develop critical business relationships with influential individuals and corporate representatives.

Chairman’s Roundtable Series

The Chairman’s Roundtable is the latest event series brought to you by the Digital Coast Roundtable. Each installment features an intimate discussion with a key industry leader, hosted by Bob Dowling, Chairman of the Digital Coast Roundtable and former Editor-in-Chief & Publisher of The Hollywood Reporter.

Industry Relations Committee (IRC)

The Industry Relations Committee is a service of the Digital Coast Roundtable and brings together on a quarterly basis the presidents of Southern California's technology and media professional associations to discuss timely issues and events facing the companies and individuals in our local digital media industries. The DCR is working to unite the Southern California technology and digital media communities to collaborate on important issues and increase awareness of the region.

Special Events - E3 & Holiday Reception

The DCR hosted a free community event in conjunction with the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). This game industry poolside party at Los Angeles' historic Hotel Figueroa was co-sponsored by the DCR and four leading game industry associations: The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS); The Game Audio Network Guild (GANG); The International Game Developers Association (IGDA); and The Independent Games Developers Trade Association (TIGA).

Annally the DCR, inconjuction with over a dozen other digital media groups, hosts the Digital Coast Holiday Reception. This festival event brings together digital media business professionals and creative participants for a fun-filled night to remember.
