On Tuesday, May 21, 2002, the Digital Coast Roundtable hosted a free community event in conjunction with the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). This game industry poolside party at Los Angeles' historic Hotel Figueroa was co-sponsored by the DCR and four leading game industry associations: The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS); The Game Audio Network Guild (GANG); The International Game Developers Association (IGDA); and The Independent Games Developers Trade Association (TIGA).
