Arts & Technology Teacher Workshops - These workshops gather New Media Academy* teachers, coordinators and industry folks to discuss art and technology in curricula. These workshops are the first step toward maintaining a dialogue among our local new media educators, the school district and industry leaders. As supporters of art and education, we encourage you to support your local schools' art programs and get involved.

Please click here to see photos from a recent workshop.

For more information, please contact Conchetta Fabares at cfabares@digitalcoast.org.

*There are nine New Media Academies that present an interdisciplinary approach in which academic and vocational instruction is integrated to build the knowledge, skills and experience needed for careers in the television, multimedia and other technology oriented fields.

New Media Atlas - The Digital Coast Roundtable and the Digital Coast Foundation conducted a study of new media players in the Digital Coast region. The study quantified the economic, social and political impact of the industry on the region, and identified the opportunities and obstacles to growing new media companies here. The new site will support business development efforts and other initiatives, that attract venture capital and talent to the region. Click here to go now to the Digital Coast New Media Atlas.
