Tim Sarnoff is President of Sony Pictures Imageworks, an Academy Award-winning visual effects and computer animation
company dedicated to the art of digital production and character creation. Mr. Sarnoff joined Imageworks in 1997, five
years after its inception.
As president, Mr. Sarnoff is responsible for the direction and management of the facility, which has been recognized by
the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with Oscars for its work on "Spider-Man 2" and the CG-animated short
film "The ChubbChubbs!," as well as nominations for "Spider-Man," "Hollow Man," "Stuart Little" and "Starship Troopers."
Other notable credits for Imageworks include "Bewitched," "The Aviator," "The Polar Express," "Big Fish," "Bad Boys II,"
"Stuart Little 2," "Cast Away," and "Contact."
Imageworks, which has grown from 600 to nearly 1000 employees over the past year, is currently in production on "Monster
House," "Ghost Rider," "Spider-Man 3," "Beowulf," and the first two full-length CG-animated features from Sony Pictures
Animation, "Open Season" and "Surf's Up."
Prior to his affiliation with Imageworks, Mr. Sarnoff was Senior Vice President of Warner Digital Studios, which was
established as a division of Warner Bros. in 1995. Mr. Sarnoff originally joined Warner Bros. in 1989 to set up Steven
Spielberg's animated series "Tiny Toon Adventures." During Mr. Sarnoff's tenure, Warner Bros. Animation grew from four
employees to more than 300 employees, became a separate business unit of Warner Bros. and completed numerous animated
television series, including "Tasmania," "Batman," "Animaniacs" and "Superman."
Mr. Sarnoff began his career as Program Director for the NBC affiliate KMIR in Palm Springs, and then moved to the NBC
network in Los Angeles as a production unit manager. In 1987, he joined Paramount Television as Manager of Production
Accounting, and then became Director of Domestic Television Programming.
Mr. Sarnoff is a graduate of Stanford University, where he received his undergraduate degrees in 1981.
Peter Adderton is CEO and founder of Amp'd Mobile and the driving force behind the Amp'd experience, brand,
business development, and innovative technology. A true entrepreneur and visionary, Adderton is creating a unique,
personalized mobile entertainment experience for the youth and young adult markets leveraging the nation's leading 3G
EV-DO network.
Prior to Amp'd, Adderton founded and created the highly successful youth wireless brand Boost Mobile. Under his
leadership, Boost launched in Australia in 2000 and expanded to New Zealand and the United States, partnering with three
different carriers across three technology platforms (CDMA, GSM and iDen.) Adderton grew the Boost brand to become one of
the fastest growing wireless brands in its category in all markets where it competes with a customer base of well over 1.5
million users and annual revenues over $500M.
Prior to founding Boost Mobile, Adderton founded Promotional Partners World Wide (PPW) and grew it to one of the largest
and most successful fully integrated marketing and promotions agencies in the world. He served as chief executive officer
of PPW for nine years leading its growth to more than 100 people in 15 countries with revenues of $100M and working with
major worldwide brands such as The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros Worldwide, Lucas Arts, Taco Bell and KFC, Pizza Hut,
and Pepsi.
During the same time, Adderton established and led Carlson Promotional Partners, a joint venture with Carlson Marketing,
which focused on the 2000 Olympics related marketing and promotions for VISA, IBM, Star Alliances, and United Airlines.
Peter started his marketing career in the 1980s when he joined one of the world's largest promotions agency Creata
Promotions, as an account director. Adderton is a highly sought after keynote speaker and has appeared in many leading
international publications as a youth marketing and wireless telecommunication expert. He lives in Newport Beach,
California with his wife and daughters.
Dan Meyer is the managing editor of RCR Wireless News, a wireless communications trade magazine covering the
rapidly changing and expanding mobile industry. In addition to reporting on the established names in the wireless
industry, RCR Wireless News also covers the growing influence of mobile entertainment and content.
Mr. Meyer started with the company in 1999, and in 2000 was promoted to reporter covering wireless carriers and their
evolution to next-generation networks and growing interest in mobile content.
