What's Next? Breakfast Series
The DCR's fourth Breakfast Series event of 2003 was held on August 26 at the
Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Moderator John Manulis, CEO of Visionbox Media
led a panel discussion about the future of digitial cinema.
After welcoming remarks by DCR Chairman Robert J. Dowling, a panel of
experts discussed the current state of the digital cinema industry and what the
future may hold. In addition, event sponsor NASA gave a presentation on
new technology that can transform any location into a digital theater.

Jim Steele of Digital Cinema Solutions; and
Charles Swartz of the Entertainment Technology Center at USC.
