What's Next? Breakfast Series
On January 21, the DCR's first Breakfast Series event of 2003 was held at the
Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Moderator Tracy Dolgin, President of Fox
Sports Net, led a panel discussion about the future of sports and
entertainment.
After welcoming remarks by DCR Vice President Rachel McCallister,
Panelists Jeffrey Pollack, Managing Director of Broadcasting and New Media
for NASCAR Digital Entertainment; Peter Schoenke, President of Roto Sports,
Inc.; and Leonard Armato Commissioner of the Association of Volleyball
Professionals and CEO of Management Plus Enterprises discussed how sports
franchises are programming across platforms such as television, electronic
games and the Internet.
