Biography of Roger Vakharia
Mr. Vakharia is EVP Strategic Alliances and Ventures, Digital Revelations, a Morgan Freeman company to explore and
incubate new business opportunities & alliances by bridging technology and film industry key players around new media
platforms and initiatives. He is the visionary and co-founder of Intel/Revelations Alliance, Digital Home Open House and
Clickstar Inc., a broadband entertainment venture between Intel and Morgan Freeman.
He is an angel investor and executive advisor to several digital entertainment ventures worldwide. He currently serves on
the Board of Directors of Eros International, a UK-based publicly listed (LSE: Eros) top Bollywood studio where he was a
lead member of IPO team involved in the successful listing on London Stock Exchange in 2006. He also serves on the Board
of Directors of 10Duke, Europe leading social networking “white label” platform venture.
Mr. Vakharia served at Intel Corporation 1995-2006, holding a series of senior management positions over 11 years in
various Intel divisions worldwide leading business strategy, investments, sales, marketing and executive relationship
management charter, predominantly focused on Media and Entertainment industry. He recently served as Managing Director
of Global Content Alliances with Intel’s Digital Home Group where he fostered deep relationships & alliances globally
between Intel and the entertainment content industry.
During his career at Intel, he incubated & led several groups and high caliber senior teams to enable end-to -end digital
content services (creation to distribution) for Intel’s Entertainment and Media initiatives He provided strategic
leadership to successfully close strategic investments & alliances between global entertainment industry and Intel
Capital, Intel Enterprise, Intel Digital Home and Intel Marketing groups.
He has forged several prominent broadband content alliances, around Intel's Digital Home & Mobile initiatives, which were
prominently reported in major press & executive global forums (WSJ, USA Today, CNN, CES 2006, Sun Valley Allen
Conference…).
He has won several accolades including the coveted Intel Achievement Award in 2006, the highest technology honor bestowed
by INTEL for driving helping launch digital entertainment “ViiV” initiative globally with the Entertainment industry. He
is six times winner of Intel’s Sales & Marketing Top Achiever award (1996-2005).
Roger has an MBA in Technology Management., Bachelors in Management and ASC degree in Computer Science.
